Gounod's opera Faust is based on the famous story by the German poet Goethe in which Faust sells his soul to the devil in exchange for help in attaining his desires. Mark Williams presents an expert arrangement of the stormy seventh ballet sequence from the famous opera. Two bouncy Allegro sections in C minor frame a contrasting dolce featuring the woodwind section.
