The SUZUKI METHOD of Talent Education is based on Dr. Shinichi Suzuki's view that every child is born with ability, and that man is the son of his environment. According to Dr. Suzuki, a world-renowned violinist and teacher, the greatest joy an adult can know comes from developing a child's potential so he/she can express all that is harmonious and best in human behavior. Students are taught using the "mother-tongue" approach. Suzuki Piano School materials include: Piano Books (Vol. 1-7) * Cassettes (performed by Meiko Miyazawa, Vol. 1-4) * William Aide Performs Suzuki Piano School (Cassettes & Compact Discs, Vol. 1-7) * Haruko Kataoka Performs Suzuki Piano School (Cassettes & Compact Discs, Vol. 1-3) * Valery Lloyd-Watts Performs Suzuki Piano School (Cassettes and Compact Discs Vol. 1-7). Suzuki Method Core Materials available for piano, violin, viola, cello, string bass, flute, harp, guitar, and recorder. Valery Lloyd-Watts studied at the Conservatory of Music in Toronto and the Royal College of Music in London. She earned a Master of Music degree from the University of Wisconsin, where she studied with Paul Badura-Skoda. She co-authored the text Studying Suzuki Piano: More than Music, which was endorsed by Dr. Suzuki.
